A Celebration of Love

Blake and Lindsay Broadhurst were married on Sunday. The ceremony was beautiful...as was the bride! Every detail was amazing. Congratulations!

Reception (without kids). Had a blast...

Our good friends from Troy, the Farmers. Good to see old friends~

Coolest, most unique cake and it tasted good too!

Journey was with me for the ceremony. She had a blast sucking on the outside of this lollypop. She didn't make a peep the whole time...what a sweetheart.

Best buds...

Updates....

As you can see HE IS EATING!!! These pictures were taken this morning at breakfast and no, that is not cake icing on his face. It is YOGURT. He's not eating a ton but he is sitting in a booster seat (without too much crying), feeding himself (sometimes) and has begun to at least take some bites. That my friends...is called progress. We are happy about it.

Another funny bath time, crazy hair picture. He is obsessed with bubbles right now and by "bubbles" I mean the white foamy lather stuff.

Journey is sitting up and playing like a big girl. I took these yesterday. She sat up by herself for about 15 minutes and played with this phone. She is so proud of herself these days. Is she adorable or what?

Six Month Stats

So, our little (or not so little) girl had her 6 month check-up on Friday. Besides the needles the visit went well. She is now ON THE GROWTH CHART! Prior to this appointment she was above the 100 percentiles for height and weight. Well, I am proud to announce that she is now in the 95th for weight (19lbs 3oz) and the 97th for height (27 3/4 inches). Of course she has been perfect to us all along. She is really wanting to crawl but for now she is scooting backwards and getting stuck under furniture...fun times.

Jayden has also gained some weight (from the 10th percentile to the 46th percentile) and we are hoping to make progress in the eating department with a new routine. For those who know us well you know this has been a struggle with him since 5mths old. So, keep ya posted on his progress over the next few weeks.

As for the rest of us, we are doing pretty well. We are certainly missing family and friends and we (as in demetrius) is full swing ahead with reading, clinic, tests, papers, etc. He is doing an amazing job balancing everything but he is really tired. We are nearing the end of the semester and I know he is thankful for the break before summer semester begins.

No Easy Way to Say It...

She had a Mullet...

I had to cut it!

Journey was six months old yesterday! She is trying to crawl, is sitting on her own and is wearing 12 mth clothing! She is still a joy....all smiles from this little one. She has blessed us in more ways than we can express. Happy 1/2 birthday sweet girl.
